I host “Living with Ovarian Cancer” which is a Podcast full of inspiring stories told by Women or their loved ones. They are all living with or have previously lived with Ovarian Cancer in one way or another. Each story is raw, honest, unique and is told from the heart in their own words.
This is the Podcast that I was searching for when I was newly diagnosed. I would lie awake in the middle of the night with only my deepest thoughts to keep me company. Every thought and every possible scenario churned around relentlessly. What I wanted was a Podcast that I could listen to when I just couldn’t sleep. A Podcast to give me hope, to share experiences, to give reassurance that there is light at the end of all this and to share tips on how to manage the effects of Ovarian Cancer treatment.
Each Podcast is a unique gift and an ever lasting legacy to the women who have taken part. Find “Living with Ovarian Cancer” below, or here https://anchor.fm/diane-evans-wood or via the search tab on all your usual Podcast platforms.

Episode 31 Karen Bygate Living With Ovarian Cancer Podcast

‘Living with Ovarian Cancer Podcast’ is full of inspiring stories told by people who are living with or have a connection with Ovarian Cancer. Each person’s story is a gift to those listening; unique and told from the heart in their own words. I am your host, Diane Evans-Wood.  In this episode I am honoured to talk to Karen Bygate who has generously given her time to tell me her story at a very difficult time in her life. Karen is in the palliative phase of her Ovarian Cancer disease (High Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer), and we talk very honestly about what this means. If you are at a point in your life whereby you feel that this subject is too difficult for you to listen to, please do stop listening and come back to Karen’s episode another time. At the end of the recording, we were both trying to think of the name of the Sacred men in India; the name for them is Sadhu (it was on the tip of our tongues!)   Don’t forget to vote for Living with Ovarian Cancer podcast in the Listeners Choice of the British Podcast Awards.
